John P. Weidenhammer is President and Founder of Weidenhammer Systems Corporation. John graduated from Reading High School in 1967 and Lehigh University in 1971 with a BS in Industrial Engineering. Upon graduating college, he worked as a Project Leader with a focus on the development of online production management systems for Carpenter Technology, a specialty steel manufacturer.
In 1978, John decided to start Weidenhammer Systems Corporation. The original concept behind the business was to provide a resource for assisting organizations, large and small, with the successful implementation and deployment of information systems. Today, Weidenhammer is among the 500 largest information technology companies in America and has customers across the United States and globally.
John is not only a leader in the information technology industry, but also in the local community, where he has been a supporter of the United Way, and other non-profit organizations.
For the last 37 years, John has been married to Nadine B. Weidenhammer and lives in Wyomissing, PA. He has a stepdaughter, Daphne Fleck, and two grandsons living in Oley, PA. John’s hobby is helping Berks County’s nonprofits succeed and working toward the revitalization of Greater Reading.
